Packed with a powerful Helio G85 chipset and a 50 MP dual camera system, the device comes at an affordable price point of MYR699 ($155) in Malaysia and INR14,999 ($185) in India.
The vivo Y27 boasts a large 6.64” IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a sleek waterdrop notch housing the 8 MP front-facing camera. The main camera setup is equipped with a 2 MP portrait sensor to enhance photography capabilities. Powering the device is a substantial 5,000 mAh battery with support for 44W FlashCharge, ensuring fast and convenient charging.
Despite its familiar design, resembling the vivo Y35+ available in China, the Y27 distinguishes itself with the notable change in the Mediatek chipset and the impressive fast charging capabilities, making it a promising new device in its own right.
The smartphone falls under the category of an affordable midranger, featuring 128 GB of storage with no micro SD slot. However, it compensates with impressive specifications, including the latest Android 13 with Funtouch 13 on top and 6 GB of RAM that can be expanded to 12 GB through the Extended RAM 3.0 feature.
